The bathroom in our small cottage is very compact (think 2m by 2m and you are in the ballpark). We want to replace the toilet and basin (Roca or similar). At the moment, the cistern is within a void behind the toilet. We want to replace the old bath with a high-quality shower: at the moment there is a Mira electric shower above the bath. The floor is board - and uneven - but we are open about tiling or any other option. Ideally, we would like to enclose the shower area within a laminate 'wet wall' type board. Again, we are not set on this but it is our preferred option. We would like to upgrade the existing extractor fan and replace - like-for-like - the small Velux window in the ceiling (the only window in the bathroom). The radiator is tatty and some sort of heated towel rail would be a good replacement (the cottage is not cold). Although small in size, we are looking for a high-quality bathroom and finish.
