About the Business
Heart of the Home was founded in 1982 and remains a family run business to this day. It was a natural name for the company as often it is the kitchen that is at the centre of any family gathering or party and is therefore perhaps the most important room in any house. Way back then, customers only had two choices. They could visit very expensive High Street supplier showrooms offering full bespoke design services, or they could go the DIY route and try to make the best out of the sparse self-design options.
