Emmo Plumbing is a friendly,reliable and independently run bathroom & plumbing installation company established in 2000. A unique combination of Design Creativity coupled with many years of Bathroom Installation experience make Emmo Plumbing the perfect choice for your bathroom project. Our exstensive installation & product knowledge reduces the risk of costly mistakes and in doing so make savings on clients bathroom installation costs.

The company was set-up by Neil Emery who has over 20 years experience in the bathroom installation & plumbing sector, whilst also gaining a BA Hons degree in design. Our highly experienced and established installation team of multi trades including electricians, tilers, joiners and plasterers are all project managed by Neil. The team have over 20 years individual experience in their chosen field and we all work together to create a bathroom installation that meets the high standards that we strive to achieve on every individual installation at Emmo Plumbing.

Bathroom Installation

“What will be the bathroom installation cost?” This is the one reoccuring question I will be asked when bathroom surveying.

The majority of our prospective clients expect an instant reply, I explain to them that there are potentially many different prices due to the size and complexity of a job; therfore there is no one-size fits all price.

I go on to explain that a quality installation begins with a high standard of preparation work that complies with all existing regulations and follows manufacturers instructions. On average 60 to 70% of a bathroom installation is preparation work that is never noticed.

To give you a clearer understanding of a bathroom installation we have put together a list of items that may be included in a bathroom survey.

The inspection of existing hot & cold water sevices, heating system,waste and soil installation.

Confirm the type of exisitng floor finish that is fitted and assess what type of tile preparation boards,adhesives & fixings are required.

Inspect the levels & finish of all exposed walls & ceilings. Calculate the required amount of work required to prepare walls for tile fixing and glass installation ( where tiles are to be removed the survey will be done after and additional preparation work reported.

Make a note of any walls that require structural strenghtening to carry loads of towel rails,basins,vanity units, glass and wall hung wc’s.

Locate heating sytem pipe work, design and calculate materials required to install new radiators or towel rail.

An initial inspection of the exsiting bathroom electrics & consumer unit will be carried out prior to any new work, to confirm all work is to current electrical regulations.
